Admission rules for the Doctoral School of Exact and Natural Sciences have been established in the resolution no. 71/XII/2023 of the Senate of the Jagiellonian University of 20 December 2023.

In the sign up form, candidate fills out the following information:
- enters the name of the course of studies completed or to be completed, which is the basis for the application,
- declares that the diploma meets the formal requirement of belonging to the field of Exact and Natural Sciences.
Caution! Applications for admission to the program are also open to individuals holding a master's degree, engineering master's degree, or an equivalent degree obtained in a field other than the natural and exact sciences. For such candidates, the formal requirement is the submission of an opinion from the candidate's independent scientific supervisor confirming the candidate's achievements and competencies enabling participation in the Biophysics program, along with other documentation verifying the aforementioned achievements, such as participation in projects, conferences, courses, etc.
In the sign up form, candidate uploads the following documents:
- a certificate of average grade in first cycle studies and a certificate of average grade in the first year of supplementary master studies (second cycle) or for candidates who have completed five-year master studies a certificate of average grade in the last year of studies excluding the last year of studies
- diploma supplement or extract from the course of study (transcript of records);
- an opinion of a research fellow holding a degree or the academic degree of doctor habilitated, employed in the unite where the candidate intends to pursue the education programme, on the possibility of supervising the doctoral student in the event of admission to the Doctoral School (on a form downloaded from: programme website);
- curriculum vitae (CV) with particular reference to academic achievements;
- documents confirming academic achievements outlined in the curriculum vitae.
Each document issued in a language other than Polish or English has to be enclosed with a certified translation into Polish or English.

Candidates do not have to confirm their applications. Applications submitted in full by the end of the period for submitting applications established in the schedule will be considered by the committee.
