Useful information

Continuous admission process

Applications to this programme are reviewed continuously. In this admission mode we encourage all candidates to regularly check messages sent to them in their OAS accounts, which will help the process. Steps required in the continuous admission process:

  • submit your application to the chosen programme;
  • enter all requires data into system and upload documents;
  • pay the application fee;
  • confirm the application by clicking on the "Confirm" button in the “Application“ tab.
    PLEASE NOTE! Before you confirm your application, ensure that all recruitment requirements have been met (required data have been entered into the system, the documents have been uploaded, and the application fee has been paid). Once the application is confirmed, it cannot be edited.

Once all those steps are completed and requirements are satisfied, the application will be checked and reviewed. Results of the admissions process are published regularly throughout the application round. Each results publication includes candidates who have submitted their application correctly and whose application was then reviewed. 

Who can apply?

Studies can be undertaken by people who hold:

  • higher education (at least Licencjat or equivalent, e.g. bachelor) awarded in the academic area of: Pharmaceutical Sciences, Medical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Biological Sciences.

The diploma proves their eligibility to undertake second-cycle programmes of study in Poland. Diplomas issued abroad, entitling to continue university-level study in the country in which the diploma was issued. Admitted candidates need to have graduated from the declared study programmes by the time of enrolment. 

Application

To apply for your programme of choice, please click on the green "Sign up" button on the right side of the screen. 
Please remember to fill out all required data and upload the documents needed. After completing the application must confirm it by clicking on the "Confirm" button in the "Application" tab. Once the application is confirmed, it cannot be edited. Only confirmed applications are considered.  

Required documents in admission process 

Submission of documents is not required at this stage. 

Upon the submission of application, candidates have to fill out a form containing questions about:

  • the course of study they have graduated from,
  • declare that their diploma belongs to the area of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Medical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Biological Sciences.

Only paid and confirmed applications will be considered.

Calculating the final result

The final admissions result is calculated based on the following elements:

Results on the document entitling to undertake studies are not considered in the calculation of the final admission result.

About the interview

The interview is conducted in English. Its aim is to assess:

  • candidate's knowledge required for undertaking the studies;
  • candidate's ability to partake in a discussion related to the development of drugs, within the knowledge they had acquired;
  • general knowledge in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences in the area of drug development, and career plans.

Place and time of the interview

The interview takes place on the day specified in the admission schedule.

Candidates are notified of the interview details individually through their OAS accounts.

The interviews will be conducted online (via Microsoft Teams, Skype etc.). To take part in the interview, please note that you will need a stable Internet connection, a working microphone and headphones or speakers, as well as a webcam (your identity will be verified with the identity document you will be asked to show to the camera, and you are expected to answer questions without assistance of other people).

Final result and enrolment

After reviewing the application, the candidate receives information in the OAS on their final result and qualification status. 
Qualified candidates are obliged to complete their enrolment by the date specified in the admission schedule.

Documents required for the enrolment

  • personal questionnaire
  • form “Basis for application“
  • power of attorney (if a candidate is enrolled by a representative)
  • declaration for online enrolment (if the enrolment is made online)

documents, copies of which should be provided together with the originals for inspection

ATTENTION! Please familiarize yourself with the list of required documents and prepare them in advance, as their collection may take longer than the time allocated admission to studies. 

  • valid passport or ID card (only for inspection, no copies)
  • diploma of higher education entitling to undertake second-cycle studies*
  • certified translation into Polish or English of documents issued in a language other than Polish or English

Documents which can be delivered until September 28:

  • apostille or legalization of a certificate obtained outside Poland

*If the candidate has not yet received the document of their diploma, they may in its place submit a certificate of graduation, together with a written statement that they undertake to deliver a copy of the diploma with the original document available for inspection by 28 September 2023.

Documents required after enrolment

  • medical certificate issued by a doctor of occupational medicine, confirming that there are no contraindications to study

ATTENTIONA referral for the medical exam is issued after the successful enrolment by the office. Please note that you should not sign up for the exam before enrolling, without the issued referral.
